Damon obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Australia and came to the wine business through a family owned winery, vineyard and cellar door where he gained experience in viticulture, wine making and wine retailing.
As one of the founding members of the Flying Fish Cove Winery Damon helped set up and establish the business in 2000. He has been a strong promoter of the company establishing thorough operating procedures, food safety systems and good management practice.
He enjoys working in the team environment of a busy contract winery and the opportunity to experience the variety of wine styles and ideas that each contract client brings to the business.
He spends any spare time enjoying the local beaches with his wife and young son. |
