Originally from the region, Ryan spent 5 years working for the Hardy Wine Co in a variety of regions throughout Australia. Prior to the Hardy Wine Co he spent 5  years at the newly established Ferngrove Vineyard Wine Co.

Being fortunate enough to be able to work in some of Australia’s premier wine regions, including, the Clare Valley, Mclaren Vale and the Great Southern, he believes, along with the rest of the fish team, that Australia’s best wine consistently comes from the Margaret River region.

Strapping in for his 13th vintage, Ryan brings to the fish team a valuable wealth of experience and insight, within the cellar, that will inevitably help maintain the fish’s already outstanding reputation in regard to the wines produced.

Listing mentors such as Simon Osicka and Michael Rubenhold, Ryan is a vibrant and progressive young man with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and experience.

Outside of the winery walls, Ryan is a fanatical surfer and lover of good food and fine wine. He also claims to dominate the football field for the legendary Dunsborough Mulies.

Ryan is highly excited about the future of the company and the continuation of the production of high quality wines within a vibrant and enthusiastic team.
